Soil Remediation Services
Soil remediation deals with contaminated ground, making it safer and suitable for future use. Common issues include old fuel leaks, asbestos in soil, heavy metals, chemicals from past industrial use, or illegal dumping on residential and commercial sites.
Our team assesses, removes or treats contaminated soil and disposes of it correctly, so you are not left guessing about council or environmental requirements. We work with homeowners, builders, developers and businesses on both small and large sites, including stand‑alone remediation jobs and remediation linked to demolition work.
Hydrocarbon and chemical‑contaminated soils
Soils affected by petroleum products such as diesel, petrol and lubricants, as well as industrial chemicals including solvents, pesticides and herbicides.
Heavy metal and asbestos‑contaminated soils
Soils with elevated levels of metals such as lead, mercury or arsenic, along with soils containing asbestos fibres or fragments that need specialised handling and disposal.
When is Soil Remediation Needed?
You may need soil remediation if:

A report has identified contaminated soil on your site

You are redeveloping land that was previously industrial or commercial

You find buried waste, drums or suspicious material during excavation

There is asbestos‑containing debris mixed through the soil

Council or an environmental consultant has requested clean‑up
Dealing with contaminated soil early helps avoid project delays, extra costs and compliance problems later in the build.
Safety and Compliance
We put safety first on every project, so work is carried out without putting people or the environment at risk. Our team follows clear procedures from set‑up to clean‑up so you know the site is being managed properly.
- Clear site inductions for all workers and contractors.
- Safe work method statements (SWMS) tailored to the task and site.
- Appropriate PPE for all personnel on site.
- Controls to minimise dust, noise and odours for neighbours.
- Strict handling, loading and transport procedures for contaminated soil.
- Regular inspections and monitoring while work is underway.
This way, the site stays controlled, compliant and ready for the next stage of your project. You have one point of contact who keeps you updated, so there are no surprises during the works.

Soil Remediation For Demolition And New Builds
We manage soil remediation alongside demolition, so the site is ready for your builder without delay. Our team coordinates timing, access, and waste movements so contaminated soils are addressed before or during demolition, not after foundations are planned.
- Soil assessment and remediation are planned in step with demolition.
- Segregation of contaminated and clean materials to reduce disposal costs.
- Coordination with your demolition contractor and builder.
- Safe handling and off-site transport of any contaminated soil.
- Clear documentation for certifiers and future construction stages.
This means your site moves smoothly from the old structure to clean, compliant ground for new works.
What We Do With Your Contaminated Soil

Review and planning
We review any existing reports, site history and proposed works, then agree on a practical remediation plan with you and, where needed, your environmental consultant.

Site set‑up and controls
The work area is set up with fencing, signage, and access controls, along with dust and runoff management to protect neighbours, workers, and nearby waterways.

Excavation and separation
Contaminated soil is carefully excavated and kept separate from clean material, with stockpiles managed and labelled to avoid cross‑contamination.

Testing and confirmation
Where required, samples are taken for laboratory testing to confirm contamination levels and guide disposal or further excavation.

Transport and disposal
Classified soil is loaded and transported to licensed treatment or disposal facilities in line with regulatory requirements.

Backfill and handover
Once the contaminated soil is removed to the agreed level, the area can be backfilled (if within scope), tidied and handed over for further works, with documentation provided for your records.
Safety, Licensing and Compliance
Asbestos work is carried out under NSW Work Health and Safety laws and the relevant asbestos removal codes of practice. A licensed removalist is required for friable asbestos and for more than 10 square metres of bonded asbestos, and this is always recommended for safety.
Our approach includes: licensed removal, trained staff, suitable PPE, air and dust control, and disposal only at approved asbestos facilities. This helps protect your family, workers, neighbours and future trades on site.
We also make sure the area is clearly signed, fenced and kept tidy while work is underway, with dust and debris managed so they do not spread beyond the work zone. After removal, the site is cleaned down and any remaining risks are explained in plain language, so you and your trades know exactly where it is safe to work.
